How open access classes work: 1. REGISTER WITH THE SCHOOL. You must first register with the School (see the Register page on this website)
2. FILL IN YOUR APPLICATION FORM. You must fill out a School Membership application form prior to attending class. The form can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. Then go along to Pineapple on a Saturday - there's a small charge to get into the building - and see what the classes are like. Speak to the students before class to get their opinion of the system. Please also note that you'll not be allowed to attend a Xing Yi class as a try-out. If you're interested in attending the Xing Yi class then first look at the School's Xing Yi web page here. Download the beginners student info doc below to get information about prices and other open access class related stuff.
3. SUBMIT YOUR FORM. If you like the class that's great but you must first have confimation of acceptance to the School to attend on a regular basis. Hand in your completed form to your instructor or email the form to us. You will be emailed confirmation of acceptance to the School.
4. PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP FEE. On acceptance to the School you pay a one off £75 Membership fee. This fee must be paid via this website here. Fees are then paid by standing order on a monthly basis. A standing order form will be emailed to you with payment instruction. You must be a School Member to participate in open access classes on a regular basis and the classes are not run on a 'drop in' basis. To clarify: all open access students pay via monthly standing order and are School Members. Note that you do not pay a Membership fee if you undertake 1:1 classes.
